What we process

The public site is static. We do not ask for an account and we do not host comments. Your browser may leave technical logs with the host (Hostinger, Netlify, OVH, GitHub Pages or another): IP address, time, requested page, user-agent. Those logs are held by the host, not by the desk, unless we later run our own server.

The cookie notice stores only a local preference in your browser’s localStorage (continentalpatriot-cookie). That is not a tracker.

Cookies and advertisements

This site uses Google AdSense for advertisements. Blocks labelled ADVERTENTIE or Advertisement (HTML class ad-slot) are ad placements. Google and its partners act as third parties: they may set cookies and process device, IP and usage data to show advertisements (including personalized ads where allowed).

We do not sell personal data as a separate product. Ad delivery and measurement are handled by Google under its publisher terms and your consent choices.

Pictures

Photographs come from Unsplash and Pexels under their licences. The photographer and a source link appear in the caption. We do not use search-engine image scrapes and we do not use identifiable press photographs of private persons.

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, within the limits of the GDPR. Because we hold almost no personal data, the honest answer is often: we do not have a file on you, unless you emailed us.
